Notary Public Instructions
To become a Notary Public, first download and review the Notary Public Duties then download the Notary Public Application and follow the instructions below.
You must be a registered voter to become a Notary Public
1. Complete application thoroughly and sign in presence of a Notary Public.
2. Attach a check or money order in the amount of $25.00 made payable to Secretary of State.
3. Return application and check to your County Delegation office at the address below or to the County Delegation in which you are registered to vote.
4. You will receive your commission through the mail from the Secretary of State’s office between four (4) and six (6) weeks. You will have fifteen (15) days to register in the Clerk of Court’s office in the Florence County Judicial Center.
